The newly improved Renogy Adventurer-Li now comes with two advanced features. Thanks to its programmable Lithium charging voltage, the 30A PWM solar charge controller is now capable of charging most Lithium batteries available on the market. Additionally, the controller now features an RS232 port, which can be used to connect and communicate with the Renogy BT-1 Bluetooth module. By adding the BT-1 to the Adventurer-Li, users can now utilize the Renogy DC Home smartphone app to monitor and adjust their solar system remotely.

The Adventurer-Li is uniquely designed as a negative-ground, flush mount controller, providing an aesthetically clean and integrated look on RV and camper walls. However, if flush mounting is not preferred, an included Surface Mount Attachment allows for more versatile installation options.

Capable of charging both 12V and 24V photovoltaic systems, the Adventurer-Li integrates highly efficient PWM charging to increase battery longevity by regulating the charge flowing from the solar panels to the battery bank. This charge controller also comes equipped with a fully comprehensive self-diagnostic system and electronic protection functions to prevent damage from installation mistakes or system faults.

The Adventurer-Li automatically detects 12V or 24V DC system voltages (for non-lithium batteries), and the LCD screen and multiple LED indicators display the solar charging and battery operation information, customizable parameters, and error codes.

The controller's Smart 4-Stage PWM charging (Bulk, Boost, Float, and Equalization) increases battery life and improves system performance. It also offers intelligent protection against reverse polarity, overcharging, short-circuit, and reverse current.

The negative ground design of the Adventurer ensures compatibility with any negative ground system, which is the standard and most conventional way of grounding. Any negative connection on the solar module, battery, and load can be safely earth grounded as required.

The Adventurer-Li is compatible with a variety of battery types, including Deep Cycle Sealed (AGM), Gel, Flooded, and Lithium battery options.

Finally, the RS232 port can work with the BT-1 Bluetooth module to deliver real-time energy data across the DC Home smartphone app and the Renogy ONE M1 platform, allowing for comprehensive remote monitoring and control of the solar system.
